The other main new feature is the vending machines in the Battle Royale mode, which spits out loot in exchange for materials.

While some of the challenges are going to rather hard, one that should be possible for players of all levels is "Follow the Treasure map found in Retail Row". The Vending Machines now drop in different types of rarity tiers, with their cost increasing depending on the type of machine.

Vending machines are coming to Fortnite's Battle Royale mode, Epic Games announced on Wednesday. One giant map, A Battle Bus, Last one standing wins.

Vending machines in Fortnite have gone live thanks to the recently released V3.4 content update for PS4, Xbox One, Fortnite Mobile, PCs and Macs.

Epic has kept a pretty consistent update schedule for Fortnite, introducing a new patch almost every week.

Check Epic Games' website for the full patch notes.

This is by no means a definitive list but will give fans an idea of where to find all the vending machines locations discovered so far. In the image Epic used as an example (above), players could trade in 500 pieces of wood to purchase a rocket launcher.

It's likely that other players will start staking them out so they can add to their elimination tallies early on. Each machine is also on a timer so the three items being offered will switch often, though players can hit them with a pickaxe to speed up the timer. As you can imagine then, finding brick, building a ton of walls, and locating the hidden gnome can be pretty tricky in the middle of somewhere like Pleasant Park or Tilted Towers, so you may have some issues with this one.
