But did you know today is actually National Mario Day?

- March 10 has been dubbed Mario Day and in honor of the day's new title, Google partnered with Nintendo to turn Google Maps into a video game.

To Mark Super Mario Day, Google Maps have updated their application for the smartphone users with Mario.

In the meantime, Google Maps and Mario will be here all week in celebration of Mario Kart, with the plumber fist-pumping his way through traffic. After this, you should see the Mario on his Kart vehicle instead of auto while navigating the Google Maps.

Google calls this special occasion Mario Time, and to celebrate Mario will be on Google Maps. This year Google has gotten in on the fun with a neat addition to the Google Maps app.

One can notice a yellow question mark icon at the bottom right of the app's screen after entering the destination.

"Ready to take a drive with Mario?"

The feature only lasts for a week, so enjoy Mario Time while you can. Celebrate in anyway you wish by playing your favorite Mario games, watching the Mario Bros. movie or throwing a themed Mario Party! That's because the date Mar.10 looks like the name "Mario".

Furthermore, Nintendo announced that Super Mario Run's one-time payment will be at half price starting today until March 25, 2018.
