Purchasing the Battle Pass for Season 3 will get you an astronaut skin and we're likely going to be seeing more space themed skins as we progress through the Battle Pass.

"Thank you! Your input helps shape the future of Battle Royale and we greatly appreciate your comments and concerns". In the latest season, Battle Pass can unlock 76 items across 30 tiers, including new items like "back bling" and sky trails.

As clarified by Epic Games, players heading to this direction will use up the same amount of time spent with the Season 2 Battle Pass.

Fortnite Battle Pass is a purchasable feature for Epic Games' popular Battle Royale title that rewards you with in-game goodies, experience and currency the more you play. Of course, you can always purchase tiers of items outright for 150 V-Bucks a pop. Single tiers are also available for 150 V-Bucks each.

It's worth reiterating that everything in the Battle Pass is purely cosmetic and won't have any impact at all on your in-game performance (no pay-to-win here).

Thankfully, Redditor JustMooney1, an Epic Games community co-ordinator said the Fortnite season 3 release date is Thursday February 22 2018.

You can grab the Battle Pass for Season 3 for 950 V-Bucks (about $10), or catch the new Battle Bundle which gives you the Battle Pass for Season 3, and 2800 V-Bucks at a 40% discount. Completing only four out of the seven in total will unlock new rewards like exclusive outfits, letting players pick and choose which challenges to work on.

Aside from the fact that Epic Games have not yet provided an official start time for Season 3, there is another obstacle to overcome. The reason that fans know about this is because once players logged into their "Fortnite: Battle Royale" accounts, they received an update message.

Epic Games has also teased what we can expect with various concept art images and videos. "We've changed the building system to allow you to place structures right through large objects, meaning you can now build pretty much anywhere at anytime!"

It was announced the players will also see the addition of more limited-time game mode after the success of 50 vs 50 gameplay as well as a Snipers-only mode.
