A Florida teen who went missing almost a week ago with a soccer coach has been found in NY, law enforcement officials said Friday.

A multi-state search for Frisina began after she was last seen by her family Saturday night. It wasn't immediately clear what criminal charges he would face.

This is a developing story.

Frisina's parents say he's also a family friend.

Frasina was found in North Syracuse, over 1,000 miles from Lake City.

New York State Police Officer spotted the red Mercury with Florida plates plastered on her missing poster around 4 p.m. Friday in Syracuse.

During interviews with news media reporters, the girl's parents had pleaded for her to return home. It's believed she had left voluntarily with him. "But I absolutely believe that she was lied to and totally misled", her mother, Scarlet Frisina, told CBS News, earlier on Friday. Security camera footage from a Fayetteville pawn shop appears to show Caitlyn.

Sheriff Mark Hunter said, "She is legally a juvenile".

According to a missing persons report, Frisina left her home through her bedroom window, taking some clothes and her wallet but leaving her cellphone, which had been erased of data.

Authorities did not disclose any information about Rodriguez or his whereabouts.

According to statement released by the Columbia County School District, they said they were working in tandem with the sheriff's office and added that the coach has been suspended due to the ongoing investigation.
