Feldstein, who was childhood friends with Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine, managed the band since it formed almost 15 years ago, helping lead it to commercial success.

In the statement, the Feldstein family said Feldstein called 911 after experiencing shortness of breath.

When the paramedics arrived, Feldstein collapsed into full cardiac arrest and died not long after.

He passed away shortly thereafter, with paramedics unable to revive him.

Feldstein is survived by two children, Hill, his sister and Lady Bird actress Beanie Feldstein, and his two parents, who gave a statement to the outlet about his untimely death.

The Los Angeles County Coroner confirmed Feldstein's death on Saturday, Dec. 23, according to THR.

The family is asking for privacy at this time, and requests that in lieu of food and flowers, memorial donations be made in Feldstein's name to a charity that they will announce in the coming weeks.

He founded the management company called Career Artist Management (CAM). In addition to Maroon 5, Miguel, Elle King and Robin Thicke are also CAM clients. He was also the one responsible for negotiating Levine's role as coach in NBC's "The Voice".

Jonah Hill's older brother Jordan Feldstein has unexpectedly passed away at age 40. In 2015, he told Billboard that Maroon 5 was initially anxious about hiring him as their manager since he was only 21 at that time.

Feldstein was previously married to Francesca Eastwood, the daughter of Clint Eastwood. However, the marriage was later annulled.
