The site became well known in July of 2015 when a video on Ryan ToysReview went viral.

And now he is 6 years old and has over 10 million subscribers.

Ryan comes in eighth tied on this year's Forbes list for the world's highest paid YouTube stars of 2017.

There are a lot of YouTubers out in the world - this we know.

The video platform earned $169 million from June 2016 through June 2017.

With the YouTube channels rolling in the dough, that's his college fund (and his sisters') all settled, we think.

According to Forbes, YouTube channel Ryan ToysReview attracts $US11 million ($14.65 million) every year in pre-tax advertising revenue.

Over the course of two years, the six-year-old has gone from being an average American kid to a star in his own right - one who is highly sought after by toymakers and children's content producers alike to endorse their brand/products; because who else to preach to kids than a child himself?

Ryan is reviewing toys from the age of four. The answer to that is a video empire that's gone from simple homespun toy reviewing productions to videos of the boy's life beyond him "unboxing" toys. Ryan has been appearing on YouTube videos since he was 3 years old, which were mostly captured by his parents. Just like the name of the channel, the child unwraps new toys, plays with it while his parents film him and people seem to love watching the kids. Most of the toys are then donated to charity after the videos are published. "He loves Cars, Trains, Thomas and friends, Lego, Superheroes, Disney toys, open surprise eggs, play doh, Pixar Disney cars, Disney Planes, monster trucks, minions, playtime at the fun, family fun adventure and so much more!".

The video, which launched Ryan into fame, would make him a multi-millionaire before starting grade school, has amassed over 800 million views.
