In addition to Bayonetta 3 being a Nintendo Switch exclusive, it was also revealed that a combo pack of the original Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 will be released on the Switch as well in February. But with the Nintendo Switch selling as well as it has, we doubt too many will have a problem with Bayonetta 3 being exclusive to it.

As if the news of Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2 for the Switch wasn't enough, Nintendo dropped another bomb during The Game Awards.

With the Nintendo Switch showing no signs of slowing down in terms of sales, a third Bayonetta game would likely perform well on the Switch if there are a lot of Platinum fans that have been looking for a game. The gaming company definitely seems to be listening to their fans on this console generation.

President and chief operating officer of Nintendo America, Reggie Fils-aimé, joined Geoff Keighley on stage during the 2017 Video Game Awards to help announce one of the category winners.

Bayonetta 3 Release Date, Trailer, Bayonetta 1 + 2 on Switch - Everything you Need to Know

A Special Edition box of Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 has been announced, also releasing on February 16.

Another exciting announcement is that we will see a Bayonetta 3 in the not so distant future.

Platinum's stylish action game series, directed by Hideki Kamiya, made waves with its unforgettable main character and over-the-top set pieces when it debuted on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2009.

Sadly, we don't know much else about the game at this point, nor do we have any idea when it will be released.
