An armed robber has held up the Bellagio Hotel & Casino on Tuesday and is reportedly still at large, according to police.

Actor James Woods tweeted he was playing poker there at the time and didn't realize what was happening.

Police were called about 3:45 the Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. The suspect was able to get away, and no one was injured. South, on reports of the robbery, Metropolitan Police Department officer Jay Rivera said.

Investigators said the masked suspect walked up to the hotel's poker cage with a handgun and demanded money. "He is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, between 5' 7" and 5' 9" tall, and weighing 160 to 170 pounds.

The suspect fled the area in a silver Chevrolet Cruze with a Nevada license plate that read 37D147. "Excellent staff, cool under pressure", Woods tweeted. The unidentified man was able to leave the auto before the suspect drove away and is safe.

"We are working with Metro as they investigate this incident", Bellagio owner MGM Resorts International said. Pelletier said, however, that it appears that person came "against his will", though he would not say whether the person was kidnapped. "We're following those leads", said Capt. John Pelletier of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
