"If you updated your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to iOS 11.1, you may find that the letter "I" is autocorrecting the letter "A" with some kind of symbol next to it, either a "?" or barcodes, Apple said. Go into Settings General Software Update on your iPhone or iPad to begin the update process.

Last Friday, a few days after iOS 11.1 was released to millions of iPhone users, a very unusual bug started popping up.

This past weekend it emerged some iOS 11.1 users (although it was also seen in iOS 11.0.3) couldn't type "I" as a word, without autocorrect taking over.

This problem was incredibly widespread, with 8,347 tweets linking to the previous Apple Support fix as of 11 a.m. on Thursday, according to data from Keyhole. And.that's it. Even the security content is the same as the 11.1 release, meaning Apple pushed this update out just to fix these two issues. Were you affected by the issue? However, the tech giant did not include this feature when the iOS 11 was first launched in September. Apple already provided a step-by-step guide to temporarily disable the autocorrect bug, but a software update is also expected to be released soon.

The Apple Pay Cash card feature allows users to use money in their card for person-to-person payments with their device, to make purchases in stores or online and to transfer funds to their bank account.

The new Apple Pay improvements are also expected in the upcoming Apple Watch update watchOS 4.2.
