Hours after Janet Jackson Saturday visited people affected by Hurricane Harvey, the singer apparently broke down into tears while performing onstage.

The singer opened the tour in Louisiana on Thursday night (07Sep17) and delighted audiences with some of her classic tracks including Nasty, Alright, Control, When I Think of You, All for You, and Rhythm Nation.

"Hey, you guys, it's me, Jan - just in case you don't recognize me, 'cause I have put on quite a few since I had the baby", she said in a video.

The star is now in the process of divorcing her husband and Eissa's father Wissam Al Mana, who she was with for seven years and married to for five.

Unfortunately, she is in the midst of the divorce process with former husband, Wissam Al Mana, who was her married partner for five years. She had previously postponed the tour to have her first child, and has been working hard to get back in performance shape. News prior to her hiatus from touring, "What About" was not a part of the tour set list and until the reboot of the State of the World tour, Jackson had not performed the song live since 1999. "You wouldn't even hold me", she sang intensely.

The show received high marks from critics who praised the performer for her on-point moves after giving birth in January of this year and dropping a reported 60+ pounds in just a span of months. She later slipped into a black figure-hugging catsuit which also accentuated her curves, showing a much trimmer post-baby body.
