A 10-year-old boy from Roseville in the USA state of MI has received admiration from none other than Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, after he saved his younger brother's life using a move learned from one of the superstar's films.

O'Connor saved his brother from drowning by performing chest compressions he says he learned by watching The Rock in the movie San Andreas.

"Jacob said he learned how to do this by watching me in his favorite movie, SAN ANDREAS". "And that's when I started doing the compressions". "He saved little Dylan's life", Dwayne posted on Instagram.

Jacob's mother, Christa O'Connor, who's listed as a 33-year-old caregiver and criminal justice student at Madonna University in her Facebook profile, called the outpouring of support and recognition for Jacob an "absolute blessing". "I have got to shake the hand of a real-life hero", said Johnson.

Real life hero 10yr old Jacob O'Connor found his 2yr old brother, Dylan lying face down in their pool.

She rushed Dylan to the hospital, admitting she was not sure if he was going to recover. From Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's 2015 film San Andreas.

Nearly immediately, Jacob rushed into action.

"He was unconscious and on oxygen when I got there", she said, "and was kept in for two days".

Jacob's mother, Christa O'Connor, said that she was at a "loss for words" and that she was immensely proud of her son.

Dylan was only in the hospital for a day, and the very next day went back to his grandmother's house and tried getting back in that pool.

According to the BBC, the boys, including their middle brother, Gavin, were being looked after by their grandmother while their parents were out, and the wily toddler Dylan managed to escape out the door unnoticed. "We're all proud of you".
