The "Mario NSR" shows up only in the Orange Team while the "Luigi NSR" appears only in the Blue Team.

Whether you're on the blue or orange team in a match does dictate which of these cars you can use.

Nintendo Switch Battle-Cars will be available exclusively for Switch owners without additional cost and you can unlock them for bonus style points. Regardless of the color, the auto features the Super Star boost that leaves behind a trail of stars. The Nintendo Battle-Cars and other Nintendo Switch additions, including local wireless multiplayer and Mario and Luigi Toppers, will be available when Rocket League comes to the Nintendo Switch. Psyonix just dropped a new trailer for the upcoming Switch version of Rocket League and yes, holy of holies, it's coming with Nintendo cars. More details on those later this year! And finally, a Metroid vehicle, called Samus' Gunship, will also make its way to the Switch version with a "Wave Beam" trail.

Rocket League for Nintendo Switch doesn't yet have a release date, although it is expected to arrive Holiday 2017. Boasting a community of more than 35 million players, Rocket League is a high-powered hybrid of arcade-style soccer and vehicular mayhem with easy-to-understand controls and fluid, physics-driven competition. Psyonix has also said that Mario and Luigi-themed vehicle toppers will also be available as cosmetics in the Switch version, so it will be interesting to see what other Big N franchises are eventually given their due in Rocket League too.
