Other actors and actresses who will join Schumer on Broadway include Keegan-Michael Key who will also be making his Broadway debut and Tony victor Laura Benanti.

Meteor Shower will also mark Key's first Broadway production, after previously taking to the stage in the Off-Broadway rendition of Hamlet.

Schumer made the announcement on Instagram.

Tony winner Laura Benanti, Emmy winner Keegan-Michael Key and Broadway veteran Alan Tudyk will co-star in a mounting directed by four-time Tony winner Jerry Zaks.

Steve Martin's new play, "Meteor Shower", is getting an all star cast.

Schumer, who rose to fame through her Comedy Central series "Inside Amy Schumer" and recently starred in the critical flop "Snatched" alongside Goldie Hawn, will be appearing in Steve Martin's marital comedy "Meteor Shower", The New York Times reports. Martin tweeted praise for Meteor Shower's "impeccable cast" before joking: "Just think, we can all love each other until the first day of rehearsal!" And then the next thing is, well, who is everybody? The play had its world premiere at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre, and had its following production at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, CT. His musical collaboration with Edie Brickell, "Bright Star", ran (albeit briefly) in 2016, and was nominated for five Tony Awards including best musical as well as best book and score.

"Meteor Shower" kicks off its Broadway stint with previews beginning November 1, ahead of its November 29 opening at Manhattan's Booth Theater.

Schumer is also set to star in the movie I Feel Pretty alongside Emily Ratajkowski, where she'll play a normal woman who falls and wakes up thinking she's the most attractive and capable woman alive.
