Sony PlayStation 3 was finally removed from production

PlayStation Plus subscribers are getting a couple of big titles from the list of free games this June. Life Is Strange also earned hefty plaudits from critics, including multiple game-of-the-year nominations from outlets including Polygon and Giant Bomb.

The PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection additions in June will include probably one of the best games of 2015, time-bending episodic teen-drama RPG, Life is unusual. However there are some alarming reports out there about the update causing the PS4 to soft brick resulting in the user resorting to safe mode in order to make the console run again. Life is unusual is a five-part adventures series about a photographer who discovers she can rewind time; the rub is that changing the past alters the future, as one would expect. "The people of Europe know survival and self-preservation too well and lucky survivors have gone into hiding". "The pair soon find themselves investigating the mysterious disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber, uncovering a dark side to life in Arcadia Bay". In either a single-player or multiplayer co-op mode, players must use teamwork to ensure they successfully clear out each zombie wave. No doubt there will be plenty of PlayStation VR headsets around and upcoming Sony games to play.

The botched launch of the PlayStation 3 combined with the exceptional buzz the Xbox 360 had generated until that point meant that Microsoft took a surprising lead in the hardware race in the early days of the competition. However, unlike other twin-stick shooters, Neon Chrome features both destructible environments as well as different player roles, allowing you to approach each gameplay session a little differently. Though production continued on for a couple of months after that, Sony has finally chose to pull the plug.

Perhaps we can look forward to a similar timeframe for the PS4?

E3 2017 that is scheduled for mid-June will be sure to bring some exciting new things (maybe even a 5.0 update) for the PS4 so be sure to stay tuned!
