Rain chance continues through the weekend

Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon. Western Kansas won't see the chance for rain and it will be warmer there, with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Sunday sees partly sunny skies with the chance for some light showers through lunchtime. The showers and thunderstorms will primarily come north of the Lehigh Valley during the afternoon and evening, but as the sun sets the activity will become more substantial farther south. A few models are indicating pop up storms are possible again on Sunday. High temperatures today will range from near 60 into the lakes and mountains region of northern New England to the upper 60s in southern New England under otherwise partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Tonight skies will remain mainly clear and allow temperatures to free fall into the mid and upper 40s.

Tracking isolated showers and thunderstorms moving through the area, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 61.

We should see some light rain moving into northern NY late Sunday morning.

Another cold front will then drop in by Friday with another round of showers and storms. More of the same continues this weekend.

Tomorrow night: Partly cloudy. There are still some differences and some uncertainty in the models, but if this does occur, the chance for rain will continue into Tuesday.

Wednesday: Early day Showers with a gradual clearing late. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55.

Tue: High: 85 Low: 63 Mostly sunny.
