Now The Mirror claim West Ham have firmed up their interest in the striker, who's thought to be valued at £20m.

Leicester City are believed to be keen on the 21-year-old, amid the uncertainty surrounding the future of Riyad Mahrez at the King Power Stadium.

Iheanacho - who has only made one start for City this year - is expected to be allowed to leave the Etihad by boss Pep Guardiola.

The Nigerian has previously spoken about his need to play to build his confidence.

Iheanacho, 21 has been the subject of a £24 million bid from London club, West Ham, and there are reports that he is set to undergo medicals at the said club.

The post Iheanacho to earn N1.57bn, twice his City pay at West Ham appeared first on Vanguard News.

With value for money goalscorers a commodity always cherished by Premier League clubs it is hardly a surprise such a promising forward is in such high demand.

But Iheanacho recently dismissed any talk of an impending exit, saying: "I'm not very aware of that". I just keep working with the team and I'm still at Manchester City so I'll meet up with the boys and kick off the season with Manchester City.

So far, City have been the most active team in terms of transfers as the summer transfer window looms.
