It was announced today that Fox has chose to cancel the spooky yet often hilarious series, Scream Queens after two seasons.

Are you sad to see Scream Queens end?

After two seasons, Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan's anthology horror comedy seriesScream Queens is over.

"It feels as if it was a complete series", Newman said, according to Variety.

Actresses Skyler Samuels, Jamie Lee Curtis, Billie Lourd, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, and Keke Palmer of Scream Queens. They gave the 20th TV horror-comedy a straight-to-series order shortly after assuming control of the broadcast network.

This statement contradicts the fact that Season Two ended with a surprise cliffhanger, which will never be resolved at this point.

The cancellation was rumoured to be expected after Fox executives told reporters that a new season of the show was still up in the air. Its Season 2 average was a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 (Live+7).

Although Scream Queens may have no new stories to tell at this time that does not mean that a third season is completely off the table.

"Scream Queens first season was insanely good but the second season was just terrible", @commandermison tweeted. Even huge stars like John Stamos and Taylor Lautner couldn't save the yawn factor of rehashing more exhausted cliches and an OTT performance by Lea Michele, while Scream Queens needed a walker to reach its finale.
